Kirk Wilde started racing in 1991. He competed and won the Highschool Class at the NHRA Division 1 Bracket Finals at Maple Grove Raceway with the help of his brother Brett Wilde who got him started in Dragracing.

The next several years he progressed to an '83 camaro starting off in Street Class and winning a track championship at Lancaster dragway. The following year Kirk moved up into Heavy class at Lancaster and Pro at New York International Raceway Park.

Then he drove a 1966 Nova SS and was competing in Heavy class and then moved to Pro with electronics and also in the IHRA Sportsman Class Hotrod. All work performed on the car was done by Kirk including engine
building and paint.

He is currently building a car from the ground up and hoping to have it completed to race in the 2011 season.

Kirk is currently employed at MOOG in East Aurora, NY and is a Product Engineering Technician in Space Products.
